SUJOK
(NATURAL) THERAPIST IN RANCHI, JHARKHAND
Antara Chaudhuri is a Sujok Therapist, certified from
International Sujok Association, New
Delhi. She learnt Sujok Natural Therapy from Mrs. Bhupinder Kaur, a Gold medalist
and prominent figure in International Sujok Association. Mrs Bhupinder Kaur was
fortunate to learn Sujok from Professor. Park Jae Woo, the founder of Sujok.
Prof. Park was from Korea. He compiled different natural
therapies of various countries in a simple way so that everyone could learn it
and become their own Su-Jok Doctor. He termed this new concept of natural
therapy as ‘SUJOK’. In Korean language ‘Su’ means hand and ‘Jok’
means foot. It is so named because Sujok treatment is done only in hand and
foot for any disease in any part or organ of the body.
Sujok
can simply be defined as treatment without medicine. It can
heal simple diseases from cough-cold to complex ones like cancer.
Sujok
is a combination of different natural therapies of different countries like
India, China, Japan, Korea, Egypt, etc. This is also called Vedic Sujok because
most of the concepts used in this therapy are from Indian mythology. Prof. Park
used all these therapies in a very simple yet very effective way.
Another
specialty of this treatment is that the material used in this therapy are
available in every house like pulses and spices from kitchen, leaves, thorns
and twigs from garden and coloured sketch pens from stationery.
HOW SUJOK WORKS:
In
our body there is a network of 72 lakh invisible energy paths called NADI in
Yog through which each cell, tissue or organ of the body is connected with
another and the energy flows within this. We also have eight Chakras in our
body which absorbs cosmic energy and transfers the energy to different
functional systems of our body during different times of the day in accordance
with Body Organ Clock.
WHY DO WE FALL SICK:
When
there is a blockage in these energy paths (NADI) or the cosmic energies
absorbed in our body are not in harmony, we fall sick. These blockage or
disharmony occurs due to our sedentary lifestyle, stress, improper diet, etc.
Sujok
uses following therapies to do away with these blockages and to harmonize the
various energies:-

Acupressure
–this
is the fundamental method of Sujok, which helps to remove any blockage from the
energy paths. Sujok acupressure tools are very simple, user friendly and cost
effective. You don’t need any attendant to use it, You can use it to treat yourself
very easily.

Herbal
Acupuncture –In Sujok herbal acupuncture is done by
using thorn of plant.

Seed
Therapy- Each seed carries a lot of positive energy. When
we apply these seeds on the correspondence point of the diseased organ on hand/foot, the seeds absorb the
negative energy of disease and give their own positive energy to the organ.

Magnet
Therapy -
Magnet gives quantity treatment. Sujok magnets are very small in size to put on
fingers, palm and nails .If the cosmic energy is deficient, magnet pulls the
energy in the body and if there is excessive , then it throws the excess energy
from the body to harmonise the energy

Colour
Therapy -Sujok
colour therapy is the most important part of this therapy. Through colour, we
do energy treatment. It is actually ReiKi. Rei means cosmic and Ki means energy. In Sujok we do ReiKi with
colours. So our Reiki includes both; Metaphysical and physical.

Mudra
Mantra -We all are
aware about the significance of Mudra and Mantra. In Sujok, for each disease we
can make a mantra and accordingly the mudras are told to the patient. When
patient chants the mantra for his treatment, the
healing effect is faster.

TRIORIGIN THEORY
Professor
Park created The Triorigin Theory of Sujok based on The Big Bang Theory. OM is
considered as the sound of the Sun. This sound has four forces: Hetro, Homo,
Neutro and Neuto. These forces are also used in Sujok treatment in colour
therapy with effective results.
Prof. Park promoted Smile Meditation along
with Sujok. Hence, Sujok is also called
Sujok Smile Healing. Prof. Park realised that in this modern life, in spite
of having all luxuries, people are not happy. They are not emotionally and
mentally sound. This with due course of time, turns into chronic diseases like
diabetes, high BP, etc. So Prof. Park promoted Smile Meditation. In this,
meditation is done by singing, dancing and releasing all stress. Prof. Park also
emphasised on serving the society and the needy and called it Life Meditation. Beside
this Sujok’s silent smile meditation is also very spiritual and soul pleasing.
In
this way Sujok touches all spheres of life.

A
few case reports:
·
A lady aged 35 was using oxygen cylinder
because of some severe lung problem. She had to carry the cylinder everywhere,
even to the washroom. But after being treated by one of my colleagues within 20
days , she didn’t need the cylinder any longer and returned it. And within 2
months, she returned to her normal routine and back to her work without any
oxygen cylinders dragging her down.

Last year when I came here, a 40 year old man
was suffering from dead sweat glands .He approached me for treatment and said
that he had been suffering for the last 15 years. Medical science has no
treatment for it till date. Due to his dead sweat glands, his body temperature
was always high and that lead to fever, body ache and head aches everyday. His
